The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, RIVCSO, has called on Govenor, Sim Fubara to embark on social programmes to alleviate hardship in the state.
Chairman of the organization, Enefaa Georgewill made the call in a statement in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
He said there is high rate of unemployment in the state and urgent measures must be taken to address the issue.
Fubara was a known critic of the previous administration over its alleged failure to generate employment for youths of the state.
