There was a heated exchange on national television on Monday between the Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, and Arise TV anchor, Rufai Oseni, during a live interview.
The confrontation began when Oseni questioned the minister over allegations of poor handling of federal road projects and the controversy surrounding cement price regulation.
An evidently irritated Umahi dismissed Rufai’s line of questioning, saying, “You are too small for me to report you to the President. Who are you?”
The comment sparked reactions from viewers, many of whom criticized the minister’s tone and described it as condescending.
Despite efforts to steer the discussion back to issues of governance, the session became tense, with Umahi accusing the journalist of bias and unprofessional conduct.
The exchange has since gone viral on social media, drawing mixed opinions on the conduct of both men during the broadcast.
