The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has called on Nigerians, particularly those in the South-South region, to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.

Umahi made the call on Saturday during an inspection tour of federal road projects in Rivers State, where he praised the President’s leadership and infrastructural drive.

According to the minister, Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated strong commitment to national development, especially in the Niger Delta, through strategic investments in road infrastructure.

“The President has done very well for the nation and deserves a second tenure,” Umahi said, adding that ongoing projects across the South-South and South-East regions are clear evidence of his performance.

He also highlighted the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, describing it as transformative and capable of boosting economic activities across multiple states.

Umahi urged residents of the Niger Delta to continue supporting the President, noting that sustained backing would ensure the completion of critical infrastructure projects and further development in the region
