Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the recent attack on Rivers State University (RSU) students at their off-campus residence in Emohua.
Bright Jossy, Media Aide to the Chairman, Hon. Chidi Lloyd, confirmed the arrests in a statement released today. He said the chairman personally visited the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Nigerian Police in Emohua to verify the detention of the suspects.
The arrested individuals are scheduled to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
The arrests follow protests by RSU students earlier this week, who raised concerns over what they described as incessant robbery attacks targeting lodges in the area.
