Port Harcourt, Rivers State – A man and his female companion, identified only as Peace, were found dead on Saturday after inhaling fumes from a power generator.
The incident occurred in Port Harcourt Township, where the couple had placed a generator in the passage near their room on Friday night and left it running.
Concerned co-tenants noticed the pair had not emerged the following morning. Upon forcing the door open, they discovered both individuals unresponsive.
The Police have confirmed the incident as investigations have commenced.
