The Federal Government of Nigeria has ordered the immediate prosecution of violators of the Ban on Twitter in the country.
Spokesperson for the Attorney General of the Federation, Umar Gwandu said this in a statement on Saturday.
He said the AGF, Abubakar Malami has directed the Director of Public Prosecution to liaise with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, and other relevant government agencies to ensure the speedy prosecution of offenders.
He said they should swing into action and commence in earnest the process of prosecution of violators of the directive.
