Legendary Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or 2Baba, has stirred controversy over his recent comments on marriage, infidelity, and male sexuality.
In an interview with media personality Nedu, the 49-year-old singer argued that men are not biologically wired to be sexually committed to one woman, even if they genuinely love her. According to him, male sexual desires often override emotional attachments, making monogamy difficult for men.
Tuface also described his time with his former wife, Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay, as a period of “bondage,” and advised men to prioritize their personal happiness regardless of public opinion.
His statements have sparked intense backlash on social media, with many accusing the music star of promoting infidelity and disrespecting the institution of marriage.
