Chairman of the Rivets State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill has urged Rivers people to suport whoever they are supporting with conviction not minding their tribe and religion.
Enefaa, who disclosed this in a statement Today, said his only problem is that people do not follow ideologies and character, but stomach infrastructure.
According to him, it is wrong human behavior to hire a worker only on the basis of ethnicity and not merit.
He went further to ask, if anyone can employ a bad mechnanic to fix his/her car merely because they are of the same tribe.
“If you’re Ogoni, Kalabri, Opobo Etc. And you’re supporting someone from another tribe, do that with conviction. Forget hungry old and empty men,” he said.
“My only problem is that, we don’t follow ideologies & character, but stomach. Otherwise, it’s wrong human behavior to hire a worker only on the basis of ethnic and not merit. Can you employ a bad mechanic to fix your Car merely because he is from your tribe?” he asked.
