The Rivers State Government has announced plans to host a public lecture as part of the state’s transition process.
The lecture, themed “Democracy and Good Governance,” is scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Port Harcourt, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibibia Lucky Worika, the Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd.) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, CFR, will attend the event as Special Guest.
The government urged invited guests to be seated by 9:30 a.m. ahead of the commencement of the lecture
