Operations have resumed on the Trans-Niger Pipeline (TNP) in Bodo community, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, following a temporary shutdown due to a fire outbreak.
The fire erupted on Monday night along a section of the pipeline near the Bodo-Bonny road. The Renaissance Group, which operates the facility, had suspended activities to address what it described as “third-party interference.”
Confirming the development on Wednesday, Tony Okonedo, the company’s spokesperson, said operations had now restarted.
The incident occurred amid ongoing political tensions in Rivers State.
