Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that the Trans-Kalabari road will be completed before the end of the year.
Gov. Wike disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
According to him, the road which is being constructed by Lubrik Construction Company was flagged off on the 24th of June 2021.
“The Trans Kalabari road is a construction feat across our swamps and river to give road access for the first time ever to some of our beautiful Island communities in Kalabari Land.
The 13.599km Phase 1 which connects Krakrama, Angulama and other riverine communities is being constructed by Lubric Constrution Company.
We flagged it off on the 24th of June 2021 and we expect it to be complete before the end of the year,” he tweeted.
