A motorcyclist has reportedly lost his life after he was crushed by a trailer at the bad section of the East West road, close to Indorama junction, Rivers State.
The incident which occurred yesterday caused panic in the area, according to eyewitnesses.
They said the driver of the the trailer lost control of the truck due to the bad road and hit the cyclist who was riding close to him.
He was crushed beyond recognition and was immediately taken away for burial, being a muslim.
Residents of the area, said so many lives have been lost on the road, as they call on the government to fix the bad section with immediate effect to prevent future occurrences.
