A tragic road accident has claimed the lives of up to 19 individuals from Team Kano, who were returning from the 22nd National Sports Festival held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The fatal crash occurred approximately 50 kilometers from Kano after the team bus had passed through Kaduna State. According to initial reports, the vehicle—carrying athletes, officials, and journalists—lost control and plunged off a bridge, resulting in multiple fatalities.
