The lifeless body of a young man, identified as Favour Amos, has been recovered from a river in the Orosikiri community, Bonny Island, Rivers State.
According to reports, the deceased allegedly drowned after consuming a highly addictive synthetic substance known as “Colos,” which is said to be commonly used among youths.
Sources in the community disclosed that the incident has sparked concern among residents over the growing use of harmful substances by young people in the area.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
