Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has denied working for the emergence of Tony Okocha as Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC in Rivers State.
Speaking, when he appeared on Channels TV on Tuesday, Wike said Okocha is not his man as they fought him during the governorship election.
He also said, he has no apology working against the PDP in last year’s presidential election because he does not believe in injustice and not allowing other people to participate.
He said, “Tony Okocha, not my man. They fought me during the governorship election. He’s my friend does not mean I brought him to the APC.
“For the presidential election, I said I was going to support equity, fairness and justice and in the others, I will support my party. That was why we won the governorship, and National Assembly elections.
“For the presidential election, I have no apology for working against the PDP because I don’t believe in injustice and not allowing other people to participate. I said I won’t support injustice and have no apology to render to anybody.”
