Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has announced her reconciliation with her ex-husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni, nearly 10 years after their separation.
The actress made the disclosure in a statement on her social media platforms, describing the reconciliation as an act of divine intervention after years of public conflict, broken communication and emotional pain.
According to Dikeh, what once appeared “ugly, impossible and beyond repair” has been restored through God’s mercy, humility and persistent prayers, particularly those of their child.
She said the reconciliation has brought peace, mutual respect and healing, replacing what she described as years of bitterness and chaos.
“This restoration is not by might, wisdom or strength, but by the Spirit of the Lord,” she stated, adding that God “softens hearts and rewrites stories that looked finished.”
Dikeh expressed gratitude to Churchill, whom she referred to as the father of her child, for choosing peace and yielding to God’s word, noting that obedience often leads to restoration, even after prolonged hardship.
She also used the opportunity to encourage others going through difficult situations not to lose hope, stressing that God has not abandoned them and that their stories are not over.
The actress concluded by praying that the restored relationship would remain anchored on mercy, grace and divine protection, while thanking her spiritual mentor for his guidance in her life.
Tonto Dikeh and Churchill’s marriage, which ended years ago, was widely followed by the public and frequently dominated headlines due to prolonged legal and personal disputes.
