Enoch Adegoke has qualified for the Men’s 100 Meters Final while Tobi Amusan has qualified for Women’s 100 Meters Hurdles Final. Adegoke is now the third Nigerian to run in the 100 Meters Final.
Ese Brume also qualified for the Long Jump final.
Gold medalist hopeful , Blessing Okagbare will no longer compete after she was ruled out by the Athletic Integrity Unit (AIU). This is after she tested positive for Human Growth Hormone, a substance listed by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
