A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has commended the Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on New Media, Olabamji Enitan Jowosimi, and Lere Olayinka, media aide to the FCT Minister, for “unintentionally affirming” President Tinubu’s alleged incapacity to lead Nigeria.
In a strongly worded statement issued in Port Harcourt, Eze described recent comments by the duo—made in response to former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi’s criticisms—as indirect endorsements of Tinubu’s failings.
Amaechi had publicly declared at his 60th birthday celebration that he neither supported nor voted for Tinubu in the 2023 election due to concerns about his competence. Reacting, Tinubu and Wike’s aides had taken to media platforms to attack Amaechi—a move Eze condemned as a distraction from the real issue: governance failure.
“Rather than provide factual counterpoints, they resorted to name-calling and character attacks,” Eze stated, arguing that their inability to refute Amaechi’s claims was a silent admission of truth. “An uncontroverted statement becomes fact,” he added.
The APC chieftain also took aim at the broader administration, accusing Tinubu’s presidency of “destroying every facet of Nigeria’s socio-economic and political fabric” and alleging that sycophants have turned political discourse into propaganda warfare.
He predicted that Nigerians would reject the Tinubu administration at the 2027 polls, stating, “It is not Amaechi or Obi or Atiku who will unseat Tinubu—it is the hungry Nigerians bearing the brunt of this failed government
