President Bola Tinubu will today host Nigeria’s national women’s football team, the Super Falcons, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja in honour of their victory at the just-concluded Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Presidency announced the development in a statement, noting that the visit is to celebrate the team’s triumph in the continental tournament.
The Super Falcons clinched the WAFCON title after defeating host nation Morocco 3-2 in a thrilling final on Saturday night.
