President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended Halima Shehu, coordinator of the National Social Investment Programme Agency, over financial misappropriation.

This comes barely two months after the Senate confirmed Shehu as the national coordinator of NSIPA.

Meanwhile, Dr Akindele Egbuwalo, the National N-POWER Program Manager, has been appointed in an acting capacity as NC/CEO pending the conclusion of the investigation.
