President Bola Tinubu has signed into law the National Anthem Bill, which was passed by the National Assembly on Tuesday.
The bill seeks to revert to Nigeria’s old National Anthem at independence in 1960 “Nigeria we hail thee “ .
The old National anthem was nullified by the military in 1978 and 46 years later, President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem bill returning the anthem in place of the newer one “Arise oh compatriots.
