President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for its recent achievements and urged regional stakeholders to support the current Governing Board in its development efforts.
Represented by Senate President H.E. Sen. Godswill Akpabio at the Niger Delta Stakeholders Summit in Port Harcourt on Friday, July 12th, Tinubu emphasized the importance of unity in driving progress.
He highlighted that the East/West Road and the Lagos/Calabar Highway are top priorities for his administration, and assured that collaboration with all stakeholders is key to achieving sustainable development in the oil-rich region.
Reflecting on the summit’s theme, ‘Renewed Hope for Sustainable Development of the Niger Delta,’ Tinubu described the event as a pivotal moment for the region, promising that its challenges will be systematically addressed.
