The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the construction of a larger auditorium for the Nigerian Law School.
Wike disclosed this while speaking about the ongoing construction of new hostels for students at the institution. He explained that the idea for a bigger auditorium came after a discussion with his son, who was recently called to the Bar.
“Since we’re building new hostels for students at the Nigerian Law School, I was discussing with my son, who was called to the Bar recently, about the capacity of the law school’s auditorium and the need for a bigger one,” the minister said.
According to him, he raised the matter with President Tinubu during a meeting on Monday night, and the President immediately approved the project.
“Luckily for us, I was with the President last night and tabled the issue before him, and he has approved a bigger auditorium for the law school,” Wike stated.
The minister reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and ensuring a conducive learning environment for students at the Nigerian Law School.
