President Bola Tinubu has appointed Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke as the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA).
Woke, was earlier appointed as Chairman of the Ogun/Osun River Basin Development Authority.
He had servednunder the environmental, safety, and operations departments of the then Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
He was a two term council chairman of Emohua Local Government Area and served for 8-years as a former Chief of Staff, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.
