President, Bola Tinubu has approved a salary increment for members of the armed forces.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of state for defence, Henshaw Ogubike made this known in a statement on Friday, on behalf of the Minister, Bello Matawalle.
He also disclosed that the government approved the payment of three months salary arrears for the personnel.
“Despite initial setbacks, be rest assured that the President will do everything within his power to uplift our military forces as they confront the challenges of insecurity,” he said.
