Nigerian Singer, Inetimi Odion popularly known as Timaya has denied being arrested over an alleged hit and run.

There were reports that the singer was arrested for hitting a lady yesterday, around the Ikate axis of Lekki in Lagos.

But, Timaya in a video on Instagram few minutes ago, denied the claims, noting that he did not hit the lady.

According to him, he unknowingly  hit the lady’s car while he was trying to avoid a blockade on the Ikate axis of Lekki road, yesterday.

Timaya noted that he had to stop as the lady approached him, claiming that her car was bashed by him.

He said while they were trying to resolve the issue, the lady begged him for his number and urged him to park properly.

The singer, also said she was with the lady, when he saw four guys running towards him, and he zoomed off unknown to him that the lady was holding his mirror, while begging for his number.
