Three South African nationals have been arraigned before a magistrates’ court over the alleged killing of a Nigerian e-hailing driver in Pretoria West, authorities said.
The suspects — Dikeledi Tears Mphela (24), Goitsione Machidi (25), and McClaren Mushwana (30) — appeared in court on Monday in connection with the death of 22-year-old Isaac Satlat.
Prosecutors told the court that Satlat was allegedly killed on February 11 after he picked up passengers who had requested a ride through his e-hailing service in the Pretoria West area of Pretoria.
The case was adjourned for further proceedings, while investigators continue work on the matter. Authorities say more details will be provided as the trial progresses.
