Three persons have reportedly escaped death by a whisker this morning after a car rammed into a parked vehicle they were sitting next to.
The incident, which happened at the Akokwa/Iloabuchi axis of Diobu in Port Harcourt, caused tension and panic in the area.
The owner of the vehicle who pleaded anonymity in a chat with Elanhub said: “the driver was only asked to tidy the car. He decided to reverse it and in the process lost control and hit another vehicle in the area.
Eyewitnesses say three persons who were sitting close to the parked vehicle, only escaped by God’s grace.
The driver, on his part said he wanted to apply his break while reversing, but mistakenly moved forward, which led to the accident.
The victims, could not speak to us as they were shocked as a result of the incident. Both cars were severely damaged.
