The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted thunderstorms and rainfall across several parts of the country between Monday and Wednesday.
In its weather outlook released on Sunday in Abuja, the agency said northern states would experience morning thunderstorms on Monday, while the southern region would record cloudy skies with intermittent light rains in parts of Ebonyi, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom.
NiMet further projected moderate rainfall over Enugu, Edo, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Osun, Abia, Cross River, Rivers, Delta, and Akwa Ibom later in the day.
The agency also warned of a high risk of flooding in parts of Delta, Imo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom States during the forecast period
