The Rivers State Government says there was an attempt to assassinate the state governor – Sim Fubara this morning when he went to inspect the level of damage at the State House of Assembly Complex after it was gutted by fire last night.
The state commissioner for Information – Joseph Johnson disclosed this in a statement Today.
Recall that the governor had in a statement said he was shot at by DC Operations this morning on his way to the assembly complex.
