Controversial Nigerian Singer, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley who was recently convicted for flouting COVID-19 directives has declared that the police is his friend.
The Mafo crooner who was fined a hundred thousand naira and two hundred thousand naira respectively in Lagos and Abuja for disobeying COVID-19 guidelines, made this known in a Tweet via his social media handle yesterday.
The tweet was in reaction to his recent arrest and conviction by an Abuja mobile court for flouting the COVID-19 rules after participating in a concert at Jabi Lake mall in Abuja few months ago.
He was arrested and arraigned by authorities for defying COVID-19 directives on interstate travels, flight travels and public gatherings.
