Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Chris Finebone has reacted to comments credited to the new chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu that the APC cannot hold a successful National convention like the PDP.
Ayu, had in a statement yesterday, said the APC couldn’t hold successful state congresses as they produced over 92 state party chairmen.
But, Finebone in a statement today, dismissed Ayu’s claims, adding that his name leaves a bit of soured taste in the mouth.
He said the party successfully held its state congresses and would equally hold its National convention in no time.
He urged Nigerians to ignore Ayu’s statement and continue to support the Buhari-led administration.
