The Rivers State Government says it has spent over N20 billion to upgrade facilities at the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
Governor Nyesom Wike, said this during the flag off ceremony of the Emouha campus of the Rivers State University on Monday.
He said his administration is interested in building universities in the state, but funding is a major challenge.
The Governor, stated that the three new campuses of the state University, will be completed before the end of next year, adding that no project will be left uncompleted by his administration.
He also assured that the Government Secondary School in Emouha local government area, will be rebuilt.
Wike, further explained that his administration will continue to embark on legacy projects till his last day in office.
