The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has said the party has become more united and formidable following the defection of some of its members to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement issued on Monday by its Director General, Emmanuel Agbo, the Forum said those who left for the ADC had resorted to “irresponsible verbal attacks” after discovering they had joined what it described as a “one-chance vehicle.”
The Forum likened the defectors to the Biblical prodigal son, adding that their exit restored peace within the PDP.
It stressed that the party remained focused and determined to achieve its goals, while maintaining that its doors were still open to former members who show remorse and seek to return.
