The Rivers State Government has said that teachers are exempted from the Stay-at-home directive issued to civil servants in the state, yesterday.
Permanent Secretary of the state Minisitry of Education, Chidi Adiele made this known in a statement today.
He advised schools in the state to obey all guidelines on COVID-19, so as to curb the spread of the dreaded virus.
The state government had in a statement yesterday, directed all civil servants from grade 1 to 13 in the state, to work from home due to the spike in COVID-19.
