Sokoto South Senator and former state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has firmly ruled out joining the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting he has no interest in seeking political “forgiveness of sins.”
Addressing supporters upon his return to Sokoto, Tambuwal, a key member of the opposition coalition, reiterated his refusal to align with the APC. He emphasized that joining the ruling party would imply seeking forgiveness for past actions, something he is unwilling to do.
This statement comes days after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Tambuwal. He was later released on bail.
