A 23-year-old Rivers indigene identified as Ibinabo Howell diagnosed of an ailment known as Syringomyelia is seeking financial assistance for medication.
Ibinabo who made the appeal in a statement said she is very down at the moment after undergoing surgery.
She also said, she cannot stand or walk because she keeps having pains on her spinal cord and was asked to repeat an MRI of the cervical spine.
Her statement reads,
Good morning everyone, My name is Ibinabo Howell from Rivers state I’m 23yrs old .Last year I was diagnosed with SYRINGOMYELIA and because of that I even had a surgery on my spinal which y’all helped me with raising the funds and God knows I am very grateful about that and Godbless y’all.
Right now i am very very down again i can’t stand or walk because I keep having pains on my spinal cord and I was asked to repeat an MRI OF THE CERVICAL SPINE,THORACIC SPINE AND LUMBOSACRAL SPINE (Price is 230k)but have not been able to do any because of lack of funds. My whole body is in so much pains.
I have come to beg you all to please assist me I find myself facing this challenging health situation and need the support of the community to raise funds for my medical expenses. Any help, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to me. Thank you for considering my plea.
