Suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, on Thursday praised workers in the state for their resilience and dedication amid ongoing political and socio-economic turbulence.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Fubara lauded the professionalism of workers across various sectors, describing them as the “backbone of the state’s progress” and a source of hope for a more prosperous future.
Fubara also highlighted the significance of this year’s Workers’ Day theme, “Ensuring Safety and Health at Work in a Changing Climate,” urging increased focus on workplace safety and environmentally conscious labour practices.
