The three suspects arrested for allegedly detonating an explosive at Governor Nyesom Wike’s father’s church have confessed to being members of the proscribed Indegenious People of Biafra (IPOB).
The suspects made the confession in a chat with journalists while being paraded at the force headquarters in Port Harcourt yesterday.
The suspects all agreed that they were sent by their alleged leader, Chinedu Ejeso, to carryout the attack on the church situated at #25 Azikiwe road in Port Harcourt.
They furthermore confessed that they were promised juicy positions by the group when BIAFRA is actualised.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Joseph Mukan in a statement yesterday said the command is doing everything humanly possible to arrest others involved in the crime.
