A suspected internet fraudster has absconded with his neighbour’s new born baby at Aneke Lane in Diobu, Port Harcourt.
The incident happened on Sunday, September 29th 2024.
According to one of the tenants of the building, the suspect entered into the woman’s house and left with the baby, while the mother was washing. She said they saw him leaving with the baby, but never suspected anything since he was one of them.
She noted that since Sunday all efforts to reach him have proved abortive as his lines are not connecting.
The Lady, said the mother of the baby has been in tears since the incident, and that the matter has been reported to the Azikiwe Police station.
