The police in Rivers State, has arrested two suspected fake officials of the state Taskforce.
The suspects, were arrested while dragging the car steering of a man at the Eliozu axis of Port Harcourt, Today.
A source said the suspects were trying to extort money from the man who refused to yield to their demand.
He said the incident lasted for minutes before the intervention of police officers who were on patrol.
He also said the victim sustained injuries after part of the car fell into a gutter, while he was struggling with them.
He called on Police officers to always make Taskforce officials identify themselves whenever they come in contact with them to know if they are genuine.
This is because a lot of persons are parading themselves as Taskforce officials across the state to extort members of the public.
