The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has reacted to a statement credited to a member of the party, Tony Okocha that they will support the candidate of Governor, Nyesom Wike, SIM Fubara in next saturday’s governorship election.

Tony Okocha had in a statement said they will support Fubara to emerge governor of the state.

Reacting to the statement, Publicity Secretary of the APC, Darlington Nwauju described Tony Okocha as a “drunk from Rumuigbo” adding that the “APC and Tonye Cole is sure bet” come March 11.

“The drunk from Rumuigbo says “he will support PDP”… before is he not a PDP member? APC and Tonye Cole is sure bet on 11th of March 2023,” he said.
