Residents of Amadi Martin’s street in Ogbogoro community, Rivers State have called on the Police and other relevant agencies to evacuate the corpse of a young man that allegedly committed suicide in the area.
According to them, they woke up over the weekend to find the man’s corpse with a rope tied to his neck and hung on a tree.
They said the presence of the corpse is a health risk to them, and urged the authorities to act as soon as possible.
In a chat with journalists, youth President of Manson Orlu street Ihejirika Oparanma said the man had financial and marital issues with the wife.
The Police is yet to react to the incident or evacuate the corpse from the area.
