The Rivers state government will today inaugurate a public transport system to cushion the effect of subsidy removal on residents.
Commissioner for Transport, Jacobson Nbina made this known in a statement.
The event will hold at the premises of the former Rivers State Transport Company in Port Harcourt.
Recall that the state governor, Sim Fubara had in a meeting with civil servants promised to carryout programs that will help ease the effect of subsidy removal on Rivers people.
