A yet-to-be identified 10-year-old boy, has reportedly been stomped to death by a stray cow at the Agbada axis of Igwuruta, Rivers State.
Popular broadcast journalist, Vitamin C Baridam Charles disclosed this in a post on Facebook, yesterday.
According to him, the incident occurred on Wednesday, while the boy was returning from school.
He called on the government to put an end to open grazing on the freeway in towns and villages as well.
His post reads,
10 year old boy returning from school got stomped to death by a stray cow in agbada area of Igwuruta rivers state on Wednesday 16th February 2022..
I 1interviewed the father via the telephone live on radio.You can’t imagine how devastated the parents of the boy are presently.
The government should step in to stop open grazing and herders moving with cows on the freeway, villages and towns. This has to stop.
