In preparation for the rainy season downpour, Special Adviser to the governor on Environmental Sanitation, Hon Prince Obi Ohia has urged contractors attached to the agency to elevate their performance in waste management.
Addressing the service providers contractors at an interactive session, Ohia emphasized the urgency of maintaining cleanliness during the rainy season, highlighting the challenges of waste evacuation.
He urged contractors to innovate and ensure Rivers state remains pristine.
The governor’s aide advocated for the establishment of planters in designated zones to deter indiscriminate waste disposal, even as he urged them to uphold commitment to excellence.
Ohia also reminded contractors of the governor’s upcoming one-year anniversary, calling for active participation in celebration of his leadership in governance.
