Some members of staff of the Ahoada-West Local Government Council, today stormed Government House to protest the non-payment of their salaries.
The leader of the protesters, Nwisaenee Dornubari pleaded with the Governor Wike to prevail on the Council Boss, Hope Ikiriko to pay their salary arrears.
He also noted that the council boss decided not to pay them because of their non-indigene status. Dornubari in a statement claimed that indigenes of the LGA have all received their salaries.
