In 2019, I had a strong urge to bring young people together and talk about why and how to “Thrive in Nigeria”. I had my reasons, but most importantly I wanted to contribute my quota in helping the growing generation become more business-minded, purpose-driven, prepared, and resourceful.
The reality around us is not encouraging, but in all honesty, they are people around us working and winning the battle every day.
If they can, we can. Yes, we can only win the war against hardship and poverty by thriving through hard work and commitment to finding an opportunity and being productive.
My small thinking became big and bigger, and it gave birth to a great event. I got my team and we started planning, we did our best and Kickstart the moves to hosting a great event.
We happily got hundreds of youths to attend and the event was packed with so much strategic lectures, insightful expositions and the feedbacks were amazing. I left the venue blessed and happy. I said to myself and my people, we do this every year.
As the world celebrates another International Youth Day, I’m happy to announce the second edition of the KObaba Youth Convention.
This year we are focusing on “BEYOND THE SURVIVAL; SUCCEED AND SUSTAIN.
We will be privileged to have 2 Keynote Speakers, 2 Inspiring stories moments, 5 Breakout sessions on Entrepreneurship, Investment, Leadership, Character Building & Control, and Politics.
If you have to be somewhere on August 7th, 2021, it has to be at this convention. The good news is that I’m hosting, I will be doing this for free, yes absolutely free, and even your Refreshment & training materials will be provided for free.
