The Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule, has visited the principal, staff, and students of Community Secondary School Okporo in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.
During the visit, Amaewhule announced a donation of ₦2 million to Pink House (his house) and ₦2 million to the school in support of its activities and development.
The Speaker also donated over 200 bags of 10kg rice to students of Pink House, who recently emerged winners of the school’s inter-house sports competition.
The rice donation is intended to reward and support the more than 200 students who represented Pink House during the just-concluded sporting event.
Amaewhule commended the students for their performance and encouraged them to remain dedicated to both their academics and extracurricular activities.
