Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organization, RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgwill has reacted to the peaceful walk embarked upon today, by Rivers lawmakers to the office of the state police command to lay complain on soot in the state.
Mr. Georgewill in a statement today, said even lawmakers whose constituency are the headquarters of illegal oil refining activity joined in the walk, describing it as “hypocrisy.”
“Rivers State Lawmakers Whose Constituency Is The Headquarters Of Kpofire, Joined The Protest Too.
‘H’ For Hypocrisy!,” he said.
He had earlier called for the arrest of sponsors of the illegal act and not just transporters of the product.
That, was after Governor, Nyesom Wike declared some persons wanted in connection with illegal oil refining activity.
